Events

The Biochemistry Club welcomes students of all majors and years to join our events! Below are some of the events that we host.

Biweekly Meetings

Event-based meetings include speakers, seminars, workshops, and outings. Meetings are a great way for members to network, stay involved, learn from guest speakers, and make meaningful connections with faculty.

Peer Mentorship Program

The peer mentorship program is designed to pair upperclassman with underclassman to foster a sense of community within the biochemistry department. Members form close connections with each other by sharing advice and support for one another.

Active Site

The Active Site is an event designed to expose undergraduates to current research. The event also serves as a networking platform, as attendees will interact with undergrads from institutions across the Boston area, as well as with the speaker and other professors in attendance.

ASBMB National Meeting

Each year, the ASBMB hosts a national conference that brings together students, educators, researchers, company representatives, and many others. Students may also be eligible for a poster presentation as well as competitions for cash prizes.
